All recording projects submitted for consideration must have been released “between” January 1, 2012 and December 31, 2013. Artist must be based in the Chicagoland broadcast viewing area to be eligible for consideration. Submissions are being accepted NOW through Friday, April 18, 2014, STRICTLY ending at 12:00 midnight. Eligible submissions will be posted on this website on Friday, April 25, 2014 after the submissions have been received, tallied and selected. Voting will officially begin in order to determine the final four nominee’s for each category, and will be formally announced at the Chicago Gospel Music Awards press conference on Friday, May 16,2014. Voting in each category will take place online only, beginning Monday May 5, 2014 at 6:00 a.m. and ending Sunday, May 25, 2014 at midnight. Both rounds of the voting process are open to the public. The winners will be announced "LIVE" at the 1st Annual Chicago Gospel Music Awards.
